2013 Mission Statement: Each One Reach One

*Young Adult (19-39yrs)

20/30’s Young Adults will begin a Sunday School Class at 10:00am on May 6th in between the two services. The class will be led by our Young Adult Coordinator Rebecca Von Wolff. We will begin our Curriculum with Balance Living with Life’s Demands by Tracey Henderson.

Balance explores the biblical image of balance as a broad concept that includes fairness, equality, righteousness and justice as well as internal balance, or the well-integrated life. These images tap into the young adult issues of how to live in a way that “takes care of business” and still allows one to be a whole person; of concern for fair and just treatment, how to balance competing pressures and demands on time, energy and soul; of how to have a devotional life in the midst of the daily grind; etc.

Our Young Adults Coordinator, Rebecca Von Wolff is planning regular Trivia Nights, Parents nights out and other ministries.  Contact her with ideas and your ministry needs if you are ages 18-39.  Church 888-1155, email at youth-youngadult@stmatthewsumc.com  ,or text at 250-0764.
