Adult Sunday School ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
10:00AM
Reach Out Class - Do you want to stretch your thought in faith? This class will do it! Members of the class are generally over 40 years of age. The class studies books of theological nature that provoke a broad range of thought. The class leader is a "moderator" from within the class chosen for each particular study. This class meets in room 208 on the second floor of the Life Center. The class has seasonal gatherings for fellowship and fun! A contact person for this class is Dave Cooke at dwcookiemanaol.com.
Serendipity Class - Serendipity is relaxed class where participants feel free to share their true thoughts and feelings as they study and grow to become stronger Christians. The group periodically chooses a book or a topic of study to be facilitated by one of the class leaders. We welcome a variety of ages and opinions. Come share your thoughts in a safe place.
Small Groups
Craft Group
You are encouraged to join small groups within St. Matthew's UMC. Some groups are for study while others are for fellowship. Still, other groups are for service or prayer. Some meet on Sundays. Others meet during the week at different times.
The early Methodist movement was made up of small groups nurturing individuals and community within the framework of Christian love.
Feel free to suggest or volunteer to lead a small group. You may do so by contacting pastor@stmatthewsumc.com. |
